About Miravelle Shop

The name

Miravelle comes from mirari, the Latin verb for looking at something with wonder. Mira is also a star in Cetus whose light swells and fades over the months, which is how it came to be called “the wonderful”.

Six shelves, one scale

Most shops sort things by room or by hobby. This one sorts them by how far away the thing you are looking at is. Each shelf is one step nearer your eye:

3. Kites & Wind — at the end of the line
4. Prisms & Light — across the room
5. Glass Terrariums — at arm's length
6. Loupes & Lenses — a few centimetres

How we describe what we sell

Each product page lists what the object is made of, its size and weight, and the contents of its box. Studio photos show the object alone; in the scene photos, plants and props are there for the picture only.
